Just sos ya knows: QuestionSleep update

Stop yelling at me to sell you stuff! Wait...no...forget I said that.

Hi.

You’re looking great!  You were looking pretty terrible last couple of times, and I was actually having reservations about asking you here because it’s been getting harder to just look at you without feeling a bit sick but I feel silly now because you just look fantastic.

Now shut up!  I have some serious stuff to tell you and even though you’re looking pretty good, your voice makes me angry.

Getting right to it, I wanna address a few things people have been asking on pieces of paper tied to rocks thrown through my windows at all hours of the night.

First off, the Killerbunny screen prints look like they’re actually about ready to put up for sale, probably by this very Friday.  I had hoped to have them done by the end of last month, but even I can’t bend EVERY aspect of reality to my will, so they took a longer than my hopes would have preferred.  I still have to sign each and every one of them, but I think they look pretty amazing for a thing I’ve been pulling my hair out for over the past month.

I’ll give them their own dedicated post once I’ve taken some decent photos of them, all signed and numbered, but I can tell you this: I’m terrified to touch them!  They’re printed on this nice 10pt silver paper, meaning the surface is very reflective, making the image change depending on how you’re looking at it.

Seriously…check these things OUT!

There's a little bit of me on each of them, I was THAT excited when I saw them. Sorry...

Still need to go through the prints and see how many are useable, but there should be around 130 or so by the time they go up for sale.  The mis-prints I eat to regain some of my power back, the way some mothers eat their own placenta or, in cooler cases, their own babies.

Speaking of putting them up on sale, it brings me to the other thing I wanted to talk about, and that’s just what the hell is up with my lonely, lonely $Z.99 webstore.

To date, the only item ever to go up for sale on $Z.99 was the ol’ J’s Not J print, and that went great, selling out over the weekend it was released on.  After that, it’s just been silence, broken only by the steady stream of rocks smashing through the windows, rocks thrown by people asking why the store hasn’t been supplied with a steady feed of things for them to spend their money on while their babies are starving.

Just before the store went active, the person I had planned on managing all the store operations moved out of state, or was mauled by a bear or moved to a bear out of state or something catastrophic and it made everyone pretty sad, and rather than find a solution to the void left behind, I just collapsed in a corner and cried while watching television.  Before I figured out some solution, things got hectic again and suddenly $Z.99 was this nagging, starving hobo of a project that joined the pile of hungry hungry hobos in my head.

Eventually I figured I’d revise what $Z.99 was going to be used for, as I had things for sale on other webstores that were not my own.  Currently those stores are:

TOPATOCO:  Here is where a bunch of my internet related stuff goes, often items that result from my Twitter nonsense, things like MEATGHOST or GOATSPLOSION.

SLG:  The classic.  SLG is the publisher of Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and all my other ol’ comics.  They carry shirts and comics and toys from said comics and a bunch of others stuff, even comics of mine they didn’t publish.  Hell, they pretty much have a ME store in there, so give them a go.

GALLERY NUCLEUS:  So far I’ve got one print at their store, the Bolt Cougher print.  They do really nice prints and posters in general.

So $Z.99 would be focusing on the more personal items, the limited edition stuff, but I also want it to be a hub for getting to the other stores I mentioned.  The store is currently in the very drawn out process of being moved to different cart software, too, so it’s been a lot of re-design work that I’m terrible at, resulting in me terrorizing friends who are much more capable at it than I could ever dream of being.  I want to thank Emma Story, Tyler Hutchison, and Lisa Dahl for their efforts, and for sacrificing their lives to the cause.  That’s right…all of them dead now.  So until the new store goes up, the Killerbunny prints will likely go up in the one you all know for now, and that’s fine…FOR NOW.

So that’s that for now.  I hope the store adjustments come to an end soon, but until they do, you’re just gonna have to keep throwing rocks.  I’ve built a golem out of the ones I have already, but he’s missing a proper butt, so keep them comin’!

I’ll be back with another update of stuff you can expect for around this coming San Diego Comicon.  I know only that I’ll be there for Friday and Saturday for now, but…ah, hell, I’ll just do another post about that and some other terrible things.
